On 6th May, 1993 the Tabani Group of Companies laid the foundation of a unique and daring venture that would later be imitated by a number of corporations in Pakistan. This unique venture was in the form of Pakistan's first private airline : Aero Asia.
Aero Asia commenced its scheduled services within Pakistan with two flights a day from Karachi to Islamabad and Lahore.
From these humble beginnings Aero Asia has soared above the competition and now offers scheduled domestic flights throughout Pakistan as well as scheduled international flights to the Middle East.
Aero Asia can now boast of the largest private Pakistani fleet of aircraft comprising of BAC-1-11's (fitted with Rolls Royce engines), YAK-42 Deltas, YAK-40's and Boeing 737-200's.
Aero Asia has invested in its own technical institute, where all front-line, technical and air staff are regularly trained and groomed.
Ground handling facilities, have also been established by Aero Asia. These facilities provide a superlative level of service not only to Aero Asia but to a number of international airlines that routinely touch Pakistan.
In order to affirm our devotion to providing an exceptional customer service, Aero Asia has developed interline agreements with over twenty renowned international airlines.
With a vast network of District Sales Agencies (DSAs) and a dedicated group of travel agents, a customer can buy our tickets virtually anywhere. With Aero Asia's dedication to the use of innovative technology, all DSAs are directly connected with Aero Asia's Head Office via an information and communication network based on a client-server architecture.
Furthermore, as of August 1st 1999 Aero Asia's seats have become instantaneously available to air travelers throughout the world via the SABRE Global Distribution system.
